Did you wake up this morning to find out that your 120GB hard drive was full? Take a peek in the folder where Internet Explorer resides, and check for a rogue logfile…. Delete it from C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe.exp.log and you should be all set.

I deleted the 20+ GB IEXP:ORE.EXE.EXP.LOG from a friends pc and it came back the next day. I then deleted it and created a small text “Read Only” file with that same name, in the same directory (Program Files : Internet Explorer) and have not seen the huge file reappear, yet (3 days). Still don’t know where it came from and am watching Google scans for indications that someone might have identified source.

just found one on a laptop that was 116 gb taking up the whole freaking drive, only had 108 mb left – has anyone got any idea how this happens, I know it’s something to do with the MS customer experience program but how does this thing get turned on and why does it fill the whole hard drive, no log file should ever be able to do that
